The spring washer is composed of 3 or 4 statical washers et assembled together with an insert.

CHARACTERISTICS

The spring washer is designed to hold together any type of assemblies that are exposed to vibrations, heat or mechanical expansion or compression. It does apply a statical strength to the bolt/screw assembly within its mechanical properties. It creates a natural compensation against any wearing clearance and maintains the assembly at the expected tightening torque.

The washers composing the spring are made of carbon steel XC75 and are heat treated. They can be protected against rust by a surface treatment of any type as such as zincplatting depending on the environment in which the assembly operates. For very demanding applications, the washers can be made of Stainless Steel E4 Z11CN17.08 or Z11CN18.08. R 1300 à 1500 N/mm2.
